About the Journal

Journal of Multidisciplinary Health and Medicine Research (JMHMR) advances multidisciplinary research that informs clinical practice, health education, policy and population health.

Aims and scope
The journal welcomes work in clinical medicine; public health and epidemiology; physiotherapy and rehabilitation; nursing and allied health; pharmacy; biomedical sciences; dentistry; psychology and mental health; nutrition; health systems and policy; medical education; digital health and artificial intelligence in medicine; occupational and environmental health; and global and community health.

Article types
Original research, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, narrative reviews, case reports, short communications, methodological papers, perspectives, editorials and letters are considered according to their relevance and methodological quality.

Publication schedule
JMHMR publishes two issues annually, in April and October. The inaugural issue is Volume 1, Issue 1, October 2026. The publication language is English.

Peer review and editorial independence
Research and review manuscripts undergo editorial screening followed by double-anonymised external peer review. Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit, ethical conduct and relevance. Payment, waiver eligibility and the use of any external editing service do not influence acceptance. Editors with a competing interest recuse themselves, and submissions involving the publisher or editorial team are handled by an independent editor.

Open access and copyright
Articles are freely available to read upon publication. Authors retain copyright and publish under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0), permitting sharing and adaptation with appropriate attribution.

Article processing charge
The APC is US$99 per accepted article, payable only after acceptance. There is no submission fee. Full or partial waivers and discounts may be requested by authors with financial hardship or limited funding. Requests should be sent to editor@jmhmr.com at submission or before acceptance, explaining the circumstances. Requests are considered individually by the publisher and do not affect peer review or editorial decisions.
