Preprints, conference abstracts and dissertations must be disclosed with links or identifiers at submission. Preprints are permitted but may limit anonymity. Disclose related papers and overlapping datasets; simultaneous submission and redundant publication are not permitted. Update a preprint with the journal citation after publication.
Before publication, the corresponding author may request withdrawal with reasons and the agreement of all authors. Wait for written confirmation before submitting elsewhere. After publication, concerns are addressed through a correction or retraction rather than routine withdrawal.
